Why are black people so lazy?

And dont say their not, black unemployment rate(currently around 8.9%) has been more than double that of whites(currently around 4%) for over ten years. I%26#039;m not saying they%26#039;re all lazy, but obviously a lot more of them are.

What other statistics did you check into? None? Well then, look under homeless, malnourished, illiterate, mental health issues, age, and gender.

I agree with you that it is a stereotype of thinking black people are lazy because we see more black people on the street than white.

But have you go through those 8.9% of black and 4% of white, then check to find out all their lives, how they grow up and why are they unemployed?

Sure, I don%26#039;t like paying portion of my salary to someone who%26#039;s unemployed intentionally (and this include those white trash too) either, but there are also a lot of people who%26#039;s actually in need of that money to survive.

Many unemployed people didn%26#039;t get to be unemployed by choice. It%26#039;s what they are born with. What I mean they are born with is that they born in a specific family, a specific kind of parent, and depending on the financial problem and education they received, they become unemployed. Some become unemployed because they don%26#039;t know any education due to same tragic childhood and no one wants to hire them. Some become unemployed because they do are lazy. But you can%26#039;t judge the laziness alone on the unemployment statistic. You will need some other matters considered before you make a statement about it.

Think about it. If you can argue with that statistic, then sure. I can argue white people are lazy too because how many white people are working as convinient store such as Ralph, Walmart, etc? Why? Because they were too lazy to study and get a professional job.

Try to get everything and research carefully.|||If your statistics are correct, their higher unemployment rate doesn%26#039;t mean that blacks are lazy. For all you know, they could be diligently looking for jobs but unable to find employment because of people like you who expect them to be lazy.|||I think it is because of the race and race hisory.|||Take away education from any race of people and they will be lazier than the average. Blacks have the hardest time because there are so many that have 1 parent or are raised by someone other than their biological parent. In any race, the level of education of a person is proportionate to the level of education of the previous generation. When 100 years ago we couldn%26#039;t go to school, 50 years ago we couldn%26#039;t go to school with whites, and 25 years ago we couldn%26#039;t get jobs even if we went to college, I don%26#039;t think we are doing so bad. Ultimately, the only killer to the race is hip-hop culture. Bottom line, we are 100 years behind in society. We couldn%26#039;t get loans, education, or jobs until the 80%26#039;s... whites have been able to do this since the 1800%26#039;s.|||This is soooo stereotypical! Have you given a thought to the fact that there might be more unemployment among African Americans because of racism? The fact that there are anti-discrimination laws does not mean that discrimination has been eradicated. It is a vicious cycle: racism creates unemployment, which breeds a society with less oportunities and a lower cultural level, which leads to a society working at lower-paid jobs, which leads to a society with a lower income and less oportunities, which leads to the poor, uneducated African Americans that some racist people just love to hate. Don%26#039;t forget that racism is a horrible thing capable of bringing down the self-esteem of anybody. For instance, how whould you feel if you grew up in a country where you and your people were treated as second class citizens? That was America before the 1960%26#039;s, and to a much lesser extent it is still today.

You can%26#039;t make generalizations about people with stupid statistics that don%26#039;t take into account all these variables. And, forgive me for saying this, but you have forgotten the number one rule of psychology and sociology: correlation does not prove causation. True, there is a correlation between unemployement and the African American race. However, that correlation does not mean that being an African-American means you must be lazy. Whoever says otherwise is being blatantly stereotypical.|||Maybe there aren%26#039;t that many job opportunities that should be considered, racism is also a reason some of them don%26#039;t get hired. Would you conclude that in other countries if the unemployment is in double digits there must be blacks living in that area? Statistics can be played with.|||If you look at the numbers in relation to the percentages you will find that the 8.9% of unemployed African-Americans are lower (in numbers) than the 4% of Caucasians. The population of African-Americans is smaller than that of Caucasians, so of course the the percentages seems larger. Take a look at population and unemployment statistics at www.census.gov or www.ca.rand.org for California statistics.

Oh, by the way, I am bi-racial, and I learned my work ethic from my African-American relatives. My Caucasian relatives live in trailer parks and collect food stamps and welfare checks!|||Thats racist!
