Moving to germany?

how different is the unemployment rate/cost of living/size between berlin, loitsche, liepzig, madgeburg?

Moving to germany?inflation rate

Unemployment rate in East Germany, that%26#039;s where the citys are located you are reffering to, is quite high. higher than the German everage which was 8.0 % in 2006

The Costs of Living there are slightly lower than in western Germany although the payment you get for a job is lower in east Germany as well. Renting an appartment is indeed cheaper there.

To make it easier for you:

Cost of living in American citys like New York, Chicago or San Diego are about 50% higher than in Germany. Although the cost of living in the US vary from state to state.

Jobwise they say the following:

Payments in the US vary from state to state as well but in general unskilled workforce get less money in the US than in Germany wheras educated people and skilled workes are paid better in the USA.

In case you need assistance in English check the German department of foreign affairs: http://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/diplo/en/...

They will also answer any email you send to them as they are forced to do so by law as far as I know.

Hope that was kind of helpful
