Unemlployment?

suppose the government hires workers that are currently unemployed, but does not give them any work to do, what will happen to the unemployment rate? Is this an accurant refelection of the economic situation

I don%26#039;t believe it is an accurate reflection of the unemployment rate even if they do what you are suggesting. They base their totals on people who are receiving unemployment payments; there are a lot of people who are unemployed but don%26#039;t receive payment. They don%26#039;t either out of choice or don%26#039;t because they have exhausted their unemployment compensation.

If you recieve benefits, without having to work, you show up as %26quot;unemployed%26quot;. However if you are sexually harassed into quitting by an employer as I was, they don%26#039;t pay you any unemployment, and there are a great many %26quot;uncounted%26quot; people, neither employed or recieving benefits trying to survive anyway they can. Yes they still pay taxes, everything you buy has taxes involved. And if you are not on unemployment you have less chances of getting hired by the government or agencies that are rewarded for hiring the unemployed.
