I can%26#039;t deny that, I just -- I have no memory of that at all - 1|||Clinton had little to nothing to do with the economy during his presidency. Simply put he didn鈥瞭 screw up what had been put into place during the Reagan administration.

The US economy can be stalled and damaged quickly...9/11 is an excellent example. However, to improve after a recession it takes years and years...according to most economists 8-12 years.

Clinton has loved to take credit for the economy...however...speak to nearly any economist and they will tell you that the biggest reason for the 90%26#039;s economy were the tax cuts, economic incentives, and economic policies put into place in the first 4 years of the Reagan Presidency.

Specifically as to your analysis, you%26#039;re right, but you%26#039;re taking too short a period. Macroeconomic policy really has gone in the same general direction since the 180 we took in %26#039;81. And with, as you say, excellent results.

The point, I think, to remember for the %26#039;08 election is that Hillary Clinton is NOT Bill Clinton.
