And why, if thats the case, did the metro area let that happen?

Why did they, and the good, working-class blacks, abandon

the city enmasse for the suburbs? And is the attitude pretty much,

let the N*GGERS have it for themselves? I%26#039;m very much including the middle and working class blacks who left in this attitude.

I also thank the good lord and Mayor Daley that black and white

folks here in Chicago never gave up, and completely transformed

our city.

Its one of the great sins of the nation that you folks collectively

ran and gave up what could have been a great city, ruining it so

much that it would forever be beyond recovery.

Now, you guys are paying the price for it. The detroit metro has the highest foreclosure, bankrupcy, and unemployment rate in the nation. Now the suburbs are feeling it, the car industry is getting

rid of whats left, and there%26#039;s no where to run.

Congratulations Detroit. You%26#039;ve just completely destroyed your

The idea that all black and or white folks in Detroit have given up on is false. Even folks that have moved haven%26#039;t given up on Detroit. many still own businesses, attend school, and recreate in Detroit.

Another, possibly better question would be what effect the lack of a national urban policy has had on Detroit and other large, predominantly non-white, cities. Or, what effect racism has had on them.
